A new technology that simplifies streaming of content dispersed through various home computers. The Wireless Media Stick ™ is a USB dongle that tricks the device to think that a mass storage device is connected to it. You can navigate with your device's remote control through the shared file system that in reallity resides within your various computers. When you select to playback a file then that signals the WirelessMediaStick™ to start streaming the file from it’s original location in the computer that it’s shared from. No files are copied or transferred. The WirelessMediaStick™ does not encode or decode the file. Decoding happens in the device the WirelessMediaStick™ is attached to.
